The Society’s newly formed Pride & Solidarity Committee made a big splash this summer by coordinating our participation in the Kincardine and

UnitedInPride

Toronto Pride Parades as well as helping to fundraise $1,500 for the Canadian Labour International Film Festival and LGBT Youthline!

The Pride & Solidarity Committee meets regularly to discuss creating education opportunities and awareness of LGBTQ2 issues in the workplace andour union. The committee has representation from LAO, OEB, IESO, Hydro One, and Inergi. Membership on the committee is open to SUP members who are committed to furthering education and awareness on issues of importance to LGBTQ2 members in their workplaces and planning education and awareness events.
