SEP is hosting a panel discussion on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and two-spirited (LGBTQ2) issues in the workplace entitled Maintaining the most rewarding, nurturing and safe workplaces. All members are invited to attend, particularly those who identify as LGBTQ2 or an ally of LGBTQ2 people. To reserve your spot, click here.

The workshop is being hosted by EVP Member Services Andy D’Andrea and IESO Local Unit Director Cindy Roks. The panel will include personal experiences from members of CUPE and UFCW along with a presentation from Egale Canada Human Rights Trust.

“The Society of United Professionals values diversity, equity and inclusiveness,” said D’Andrea. “Hosting events like this panel discussion are a way to create safe space to discuss LGBTQ2 issues.”
