The Society wishes peace and prosperity to Muslim members observing the holy month of Ramadan.

During this holiest month of the Islamic calendar, with a few exceptions, observant Muslims will fast from dawn until dusk each day from June 6 to July 7. Though fasting is one of the better known parts of Ramadan among non-Muslims, other aspects of Ramadan include additional prayers; iftar, which is a large meal to break the daily fast; giving charity; and reciting passages of the Quran.
