Wonderland member appreciation brought families together

More than 700 members and their families joined the Society at Canada’s Wonderland on July 21 for the union’s annual member appreciation event.

The day featured a free barbeque buffet in the Wonderland Courtyard and discounted entry into the amusement park. Members received a new United Professionals hat while kids enjoyed stickers and temporary tattoos.

Beginning with last summer’s barbeque at Kelso Conservation Area, the annual appreciation event has become a popular way for members to meet colleagues from all Society locals and get to know their union leadership while having a good time.
